Tom Mathis, Sr. Council of PTAs is a proud component of Georgia PTA.  We currently serve and represent 26 local unit PTAs in West Cobb County.  Our purpose is to carry out the mission and purposes PTA by providing resources and training to our local PTAs and facilitating collaboration and cooperation between school and PTA leadership.

General Meeting/President Appreciation & Awards

Our next and final General Meeting of this year will be held on Tuesday, April 29th at 10:00am.  This meeting is being generously hosted by the City of Acworth and will be held at Acworth City Hall.  The business of the meeting will include the election of officers, consideration of a proposed resolution, recognition of our hard working local unit Presidents, and several awards.

A catered luncheon will be provided following the meeting so mark your calendars and plan to stay for lunch!

Incoming Leadership Training

We will be holding our Incoming Leadership Training on Wednesday, May 14th at U.S. Play in Kennesaw beginning at 10:00am.  This is a must for ALL incoming officers regardless of their previous experience in PTA!  In addition to valuable information necessary to understand your responsibilities and ensure success, there will be lots of opportunities for prizes!  You DO NOT want to miss it!
